Nigeria’s National Adaptation Plan Framework (2020)

This report provides a broad-based framework for Nigeria to effectively address its National Adaptation Plan. It is supported by the NAP Global Network as a step toward the adoption of the Cancun Adaptation Framework in Nigeria. The objective of the Cancun Adaptation Framework is to enhance actions on adaptation, including through international cooperation and coherent consideration of matters relating to adaptation under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. This is with a view to contributing to reducing vulnerabilities and building resilience in a developing country party such as Nigeria.
